We will be playing some new music by everyone in the band with some compositions by Chick Corea, Thelonious Monk, and Wayne Shorter.

After three albums that garnered much acclimation, Oscar Perez brings together his trio featuring stellar musicians Chris Berger on bass and Alvester Garnett on drums.

JazzTimes praised Perez as “an extraordinary composer who blends the rhythmic complexity of Latin American music with the elegant harmonies of jazz,” while DownBeat chimed in by marveling over the music’s “wondrous interaction of piano and band.”
